Open Role: Product Manager
Role
We are seeking a Product Manager to own our AI-technology product end-to-end as we scale from early customers to a mature platform. This is a founding product role — you’ll define what gets built, why it gets built, and what good looks like. You’ll work at the intersection of AI systems, compensation domain expertise, and enterprise software, and your decisions will directly shape the trajectory of the company.
We're looking for a Product Manager to:
- Own and maintain the product roadmap across all modules making deliberate prioritization decisions and defending them clearly to engineering, leadership, and customers
- Write and maintain high-quality feature specifications that engineering can actually build from — problem statements, user stories, acceptance criteria, UX flows, and technical considerations — and drive open questions to resolution before they become blockers
- Define and maintain the integration connector roadmap — deciding which Platform Tool connectors to build or deepen, what a complete connector looks like across read, write, and workflow operations, and how to stage connector development to maximize customer value
- Own the tenant onboarding and time-to-value experience end-to-end, identifying where customers get stuck between contract signature and productive daily use, and designing product solutions — not just process workarounds — to address them
- Build and run a structured customer feedback program, synthesizing signal from existing customers, near-churns, and the broader SPM market into product decisions, and closing the loop with customers on what was heard and what was built
- Track the competitive landscape rigorously — SPM vendors building AI into their own platforms, horizontal AI players, iPaaS vendors — and update product positioning and prioritization when the landscape meaningfully shifts
- Own the quality bar for the product’s AI-specific behavior: define the evaluation framework for agent response quality, retrieval accuracy, entity resolution correctness, and cross-system reconciliation outputs; make ship/no-ship calls based on evaluation results
- Oversee QA operations — maintain the test framework, define acceptance standards across the product, validate end-to-end scenarios before each release, and ensure quality is a non-negotiable gate rather than a best-effort activity
- Contribute to pricing, packaging, and monetization decisions, ensuring that how the product is structured and sold reflects the product’s actual value delivery and cost architecture
- Keep the full team aligned through a product wiki, release notes, and regular product reviews — being the person who maintains and communicates product truth across engineering, design, and customer success
What you'll need:
- 5+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent at a company building AI or LLM-powered products — you’ve made product decisions around agents, RAG pipelines, or similar systems and understand their capabilities and failure modes, not just their marketing
- Hands-on familiarity with AI/agent architecture — you understand how tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation, vector stores, and knowledge graphs work well enough to make good product tradeoffs and have credible conversations with engineers without needing concepts translated
- Domain expertise in Sales Performance Management or enterprise compensation operations is recommended
- Experience owning complex, multi-surface enterprise SaaS products where modules interact with each other and prioritization decisions have downstream consequences
- Strong written communication — your specs are clear, your acceptance criteria are testable, and your roadmap documents are things people actually read and reference
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving early-stage environment where the product, the team, and the strategy are all evolving simultaneously and ambiguity is the default condition
- Experience contributing to or overseeing QA processes, with an understanding of what good test coverage looks like and how to maintain quality standards without a large dedicated QA team
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or technical graduate degree a plus but not required
What you'll get:
- Competitive salary in a rapidly growing early-stage company backed by top investors.
- Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, PTO, and more!
- Career progression opportunities in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment where your contributions are valued and can make a significant impact.
- The opportunity to define what enterprise AI for compensation operations looks like from the ground up, with real customers, real data, and real stakes
